Our staff take pride in their work and will provide you with the very
best in hospitality, courtesy and quality of service.
Dan - General Manager
Dan, a family man and father, has been at the Inn since February 2007,
prior to this he was the Assistant Manager at The Rising Sun, our sister
pub in Wootton (approximately 5 miles from Burley).
Lisa - Assistant Manager
Twenty-three year old Lisa is a local girl both born and raised in the
New Forest. Lisa has five years hotel and office experience in the
hospitality industry. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, especially
jive.
Phil - Head Chef
Phil has been Head Chef for ourselves and our sister pub The Rising Sun
in Wootton for over eight years. Phil has four young children and lives
locally in The New Forest. His Sunday roast is a speciality and well
worth the visit.
Christine - Chef
Christine, a former resident of Poulner in Ringwood, works part time as
a chef, her main job is working with children. She has worked at The
Burley Inn and our
sister pub the Rising Sun, also in the New Forest, for over ten years.
Eva - Bar/Waitress
Eva is twenty and comes from Bulgaria, she is on a gap year from
university where she is studying business administration. Currently Eva
is studying for her NVQ2 qualification. Prior to coming to England with
her partner Tolol, she has spent time in America both working
and exploring. Nacho - Second Chef
Spanish born Nacho is from Granada and age twenty-four. He has eight
years experience in the hospitality industry both in the kitchen and as
a former waiter. When he's not in the kitchen Nacho is usually reading,
cycling or playing football. Tolol
- Bar/Waiter
Tolol, aged nineteen is Eva's partner and also from Bulgaria. Like Eva,
he too is on a gap year from university, where he is studying business
management. He is currently working on his NVQ2 qualification and
improving his English.
